Do you offer reduced rates?
I offer a limited number of reduced rates. Let’s talk about your situation and figure out this out together. In a case when I am not offering reduced rates, I can provide referrals for other therapists who might have openings.
How long will I need to be in therapy to see resolves? How often do we meet?
Great questions with a not so clear answer. I'm not sure, it's different for each person. On average, my clients report feeling relief after the first few session and see progress within 2 months of weekly sessions. For long lasting effects, I ask client to commit to weekly session for the first 6 months of treatment. At this time, we will review work and treatment goals and we will discuss the next steps in working together. Most clients continue with weekly sessions after this check in.
For effective and sustained growth, I prefer and recommend weekly session opposed to biweekly or monthly work. See my blog post on this for more information. Select hyperlink here.
Do you take insurance?
At this time I do not accept insurance. Using insurance for therapy has both benefits and setbacks. See my blog post on this for more information. Select hyperlink here.
